On the day of Tuesday, June 24, Indianapolis was greeted with heavy rain resulting in flash flood warnings, but when the time rolled around for the Arctic Monkeys to take center stage, there were no storms — only screams.

The British band surprised fans with a set list comprised of songs dating back to 2006 and flawlessly intertwining them with hits from their newest album, “AM”.

Playing a total of 17 songs, not including the encore, the Arctic Monkeys featured hits such as “Do I Wanna Know?” “Dancing Shoes,” “Crying Lightning” and “505,” all from different albums.

The band’s innate talent was exposed through their exceptional vocals, electrifying guitar riffs, and enticing bass line which all matched their recordings.

Thousands showed up for just one of the Arctic Monkeys’ stops on their summer tour and the lead singer, Alex Turner, finished the show by saying, “I’m going to leave you now, but remember us this way” before playing one of their biggest hits, “R U Mine?”.

The Indianapolis fans have no choice but to remember.
