Hockey Gains a Victory against Zionsville

Sunday December 5, the hockey team traveled to Indianapolis, Ind., for a weekend tournament. The team faced a Zionsville hockey team on Sunday morning at the Pepsi Coliseum, which resulted in the addition of a victory to their record.

Zionsville’s hockey team has a record of 7-17-1, but another loss was added at the close of Sunday’s game. The team battled Zionsville until the game ended in a 4-1 score. Lawrence Pezzuto (10) journeyed with the hockey team to Indianapolis to observe the games.

“Tyler Trembcyznski (11) scored a tip-in goal during the game,” Pezzuto said.

Throughout the game, some actions were taken that resulted in the ejection of one of the team’s players.

“Bryan Studniarz (9) got ejected for a hit from behind to another player,” Pezzuto said.

Hockey entails a relative amount roughness in each game because it is a contact sport. However, this window for roughness can be taken advantage of, which might be seen as unprofessional.

“The other team played dirty, but we kind of stuck it to them,” Pezzuto said.
