Indians against the Bulldogs

Facing off against Crown Point, the freshmen boys basketball team did not disappoint. The game started intensely and stayed intense through the end.

“We had no intensity on the defensive end but we were glad we hit some shots,” Sean Sullivan (9) said.

Focusing on what can be improved on is important, yet the boys show off all their strong points. They didn’t let falling behind a few points slow them down.

“[We can improve as a team by]  moving without the ball, boxing out, playing aggressive defense and less turnovers,” Issac Heard (9) said.

Instead of letting mistakes mess with their heads, they stepped up and continued to put in hard work. The boys had strong defense and did not make it easy for their opponents.

“We played good but it wasn’t our best game I would say, we weren’t energetic like we usually are,” Doug Loden (9) said.

The boys were defeated by Crown Point 38-40. Their next game is Monday, Jan. 16.
