Q: How long have you been playing tennis and why did you start?

A: I’ve been playing tennis for pretty much my whole life and I started taking lessons when I was six years old. I started playing because my parents have always played tennis and they wanted me to play it too.

Q: What are your strengths playing?

A: My backhand’s really good in tennis, which is really good because for some people it’s their weakness, but for me it’s my strength.

Q: What are your weaknesses?

A: I’d say [my] weaknesses are volleys. I play singles so I never really go up to volley.

Q: What’s your position on the team this season?

A: I’m normally 2 JV singles.

Q: What are you looking forward to most this season?

A: I’m just looking forward to meeting all of our goals we made for all the matches. We really want to win a lot of them and we really think we can.

Q: What has been your favorite moment of the season so far?

A: Probably my favorite moment of the season so far is that I’m undefeated, and the team is undefeated too.

Q: Do you have plans on continuing playing tennis in college or at all after high school?

A: I don’t think I’ll play in college, but I’ll still always play it for fun.

Q: What’s your favorite part about playing tennis?

A: I think my favorite part is just being competitive, especially with singles. It’s all on you to do really well and to win.
