N-Teens members listen to Mrs. Gabrielle Rapin, Science, discuss future volunteer opportunities. This meeting was held on March 22.

N-Teens held a short and small meeting in the LGI on Wednesday, March 22. Because one of the club sponsors, Mrs. Kelsey Becich, English, couldn’t attend the meeting, Mrs. Gabrielle Rapin, Science, lead the meeting alone.

During the meeting, Mrs. Rapin discussed more volunteer opportunities for the club members so they can get their required number of service hours by the end of the month, as well as the few meetings they have left before the end of the school year.

“This meeting was pretty much just general information for the members, informing us about upcoming meeting dates and giving us more volunteer hours so we can reach our minimum of 30 [hours] by next month,” Lauren Wisnewski (11) said.

N-Teens is a service club that aims to get students more involved with helping their community through teamwork and volunteer opportunities throughout school and the Region.

“I joined N-Teens because I like to help out the community and so I can make a difference in my community and my school,” Wisnewski said.

N-Teens holds meetings twice a month after school in the LGI.
