Based on the 36-page picture book by Marla FrazeeTom, “Boss Baby” was turned into an animated movie by director Tom McGrath who knows how to leave his audience with watery eyes. The movie released in theaters on March 31 and has intrigued many little ones to view its charismatic plot.

A new baby’s arrival changes a family. The story is told from the point of view of an ingenius 7-year-old boy named Tim. The abnormal Boss Baby (Alec Baldwin) shows up at Tim’s home in a taxi, wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase. Tim’s mom and dad wanted a sibling for Tim, but as soon as Tim meets Boss Baby, there is an instant sibling rivalry. The sibling rivalry had to be put to an end when Tim discovers that Boss Baby is actually a spy on a top secret mission sent by Babycorp headquarters to stop an adorable puppy product launch by arch-rival Puppyco that threatens to flip parental affection away from baby lovers all across the world. Only Boss Baby can help with the mission and stop the fighting between the babies and the puppies.

I would highly recommend this movie to families with toddlers and anyone who is looking to have a good laugh.
